A Nice Find

It’s always great to come across a hidden gem. My last vlog covered woodland photography and while out on that adventure, I managed to get a little lost.
A quick detour up a narrow lane looking for a place to do a U-turn and there at the side of the road was this abandoned Citroen 2CV. The trees and ivy all around it giving the impression that its was about to be swallowed by the woodland.
I’d love to share this location, but within five minutes of stopping and getting the camera out, a car pulled up and the driver (politely) informed us that were on a private road and we needed to move on. A quick hand held shot was all I could manage to get

A few weeks ago, I had a similar experience, discovering an old tin shack in the woods.
The day had been fairly unproductive as far as photography was concerned so discovering this really made the day.

I processed both images using Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) and used a fairly similar workflow for both.
